In July of 2012, my husband and I made a big move from a small town in Indiana to Dallas, Texas, where I attended SMU Dedman School of Law. After law school, I briefly worked at a traditional law firm; however, my passion for educating, mentoring, and serving my community pulled me out of traditional practice and into the world of legal academics.

I spent years helping law school graduates study for and pass the bar exam so that they too could accomplish their goal and become an attorney. After watching student after student succeed and launch their new careers, I decided to re-enter the practice of law. However, this time around would be different.

I wanted to create a career in law that was both non-traditional and incorporated my passion of service to my community.

While this Hoosier will always be proud of her Midwest roots, I must admit that Texas has stolen my heart and is now home. My husband and I are devoted Cowboy fans and food fanatics. I enjoy trying new restaurants, travelling, reading, and most of all spending time with my daughter.
